When You Miss the Chocolate for the M&M's

My baby was so excited about the brightly colored M&M's that she never noticed the Godiva chocolate in the same bowl.

 We do it every day.

 There are extraordinary stories all around us.

We miss those stories when get distracted by the sweet details of our own lives.

So here's my intention: I'm slowing down. Looking for details that don't immediately jump out at me. Finding the story that may not look as interesting at first glance.

    Bless her heart. Cute kid. Lol. I can't say much. I probably wouldn't like M&Ms half as much as I do if they weren't colorful. Takes the fun out of it.
    As for story gems... I've been trying to figure out a hobby for this character of mine and the other day I saw a stack if pretty notebooks stacked by my bed and it hit me. She'll be a writer. It ended up working perfectly into the story.
