I also saw a writer say MSS in reference to a manuscript.

I'm watching GG right now :) it's my favorite part of saturdays with nothing to do! But GG & bunheads cause a little writers depression.

I havent given the town of my WIP a name yet. I wanted to set it in upstate NY where I grew up but eve though it'd fit the MC it would fit the antagonist. I grew up in an area that rivals Forks, actually. I could switch to DFW which may fit my antagonist but not so much my MC. Well they could I'd just to change things around.Tonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14500897912581589616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839097860063281306.post-81328045615445586822012-08-11T14:56:13.069-07:002012-08-11T14:56:13.069-07:00I love that you are writing about the Twin Cities!...I love that you are writing about the Twin Cities!! That is where I lived my whole life until a few years ago but still live within an hour of there. Can't wait to see how you write about it!! Love this post about setting. I always feel like it should be "somewhere" just because of what you said and now it doesn't seem so hard to pick a place. I was always afraid of writing about a specific place as many of them I have never been to and I didn't want it to come out in my writing that I haven't :)

Great post!!

ShannonShannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18238002670301282277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839097860063281306.post-56725383709071708402012-08-11T13:27:06.169-07:002012-08-11T13:27:06.169-07:00Absolutely. It was very helpful.
I thought it was interesting how you said that a writer shouldn't necessarily just choose Paris because it's romantic... I can see how it would be interesting to set a certain type of story in a less stereotypical setting.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15625227889880404136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839097860063281306.post-79058870867988764392012-08-10T18:05:47.688-07:002012-08-10T18:05:47.688-07:00Thanks so much, girl!!! :)Thanks so much, girl!!! :)Christahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09501508565473300736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839097860063281306.post-90940687026518270672012-08-10T17:09:05.397-07:002012-08-10T17:09:05.397-07:00I'm a sucker for a cool setting too.
